my name is ashley, but i also go by ash! i am a makeup artist, face & body painter, hairstylist, and artist. i am a dual-licensed cosmetologist-esthetician and certified advanced makeup artist with an associate degree in studio arts.
my whole life i have always felt drawn to the arts, beauty, and entertainment industries. i am creative, intuitive, and expressive, and i knew my career path wasn’t going to be typical, or easy to get into—but i also knew that if this is what i was meant to do, the creator of all creators would help me along the way.
i started out working at halloween stores to immerse myself in the industry. i have been blessed to connect with haunted houses, theaters, broadway productions, tv productions, clubs, makeup artists, face and body painters, hairstylists, youtubers, artists, actors, entertainers, musicians, energy workers, teachers, mentors, and more along the way. i get so excited thinking about all of the amazing people i have yet to meet and work with throughout my journey.
i want to help break the stigma around witches, especially in the workplace. i understand that choosing this controversial sort of branding may not be for everyone, but it’s exactly right for the open-minded kind of people that i’m meant to work with. witches work with energy, just like artists work with paints. i will never push my beliefs onto anyone else as much as i will not have any beliefs pushed onto me. all backgrounds, body types, and ethnicities are praised and encouraged with the agreement of mutual respect.
i take a holistic approach to my services, because ultimately everything is energy. skin is highly absorptive and protective, so it’s important to infuse everything we apply to our skin with good energy, ingredients, and intention—otherwise known as glamour magic. i would not be where i am now if i did not believe in the power of positivity, manifestation, creativity, and signs from the universe. there is magic in everything, even the mundane.
when i love what i do and have fun doing it, it hardly seems like work. the passion, skill, knowledge, experience, and energy i bring to everything i do is why others enjoy working with me. i love to teach as much as i love to learn. when you receive any service from me, you are treated as the unique individual you are, who is just as much deserving of care and consideration as the next. i want my clients to feel that everything i do is out of love and good intentions, and trust that i will do everything in my power to make their experience magical, enjoyable, instructive, fun, beautiful, and memorable.
